People often ask for starter decks when they first get Netrunner to get an idea of how to deck build or what makes a deck strong. The recommended starter decks in the core set aren’t very efficient nor do they use any influence, so I have worked with some friends to design a few starter decks.

The Arla starter deck is all about the symbol skill [Flying]. Flying J/resonators can’t be blocked by J/resonators without flying so in most cases you can freely attack whatever you like without fear of being stopped by something. Note: This guide is a little outdated since the release of the Campaign mode as you no longer get a free PvP Starter Deck upon account creation. However, the Starter Deck reviews remain relevant.

This thread is primarily for new players. The default starter decks provided to new players are not that goo so I thought it would be helpful to provide a better sample deck for each Legen using only Basic cards (except for Linza - there are Common/Sapphire cards in the sample Linza deck).The Pokémon-e Starter Deck contains cards, of which are random. This is atypical of Full Decks and Half Decks, which contain a fixed selection of cards.
