Ford power window switch repair

Ford power window regulator switch. The metal electrical contacts corrode with time and the windows no longer move up or down. I had a 19F-1that this worked on as well as this one. This a fairly common problem I have found and this fixes it easily.

Removing and replacing a power window switch is simplicity itself. The hard part is accessing the switch so that it can be removed. The power window buttons in my 20Ford F-1seems to have stopped functioning for the passenger and both rear windows and sometimes my driver window stops working. Since it is happening to three out of the four windows then I figured it couldn't be the power window motors.

It is not possible to repair a window switch that is burnt out, but sometimes a careful cleaning might extend the life of a switch with fouled contacts for a few days or months. A replacement from Ford would have me replace the entire regulator- motor et al, and set me back by roughly $120. A non-OEM part of questionable quality was $which I was not happy about. Designed as a direct replacement, this driver side power window switch is made to original specifications for a simple plug-in installation.

This power window switch comes with the correct plastic buttons for all four power windows as well as the lock button for disabling the rear windows. My driver side power window is stuck in the down position. All the other windows work fine.
