, Google, AOL, ATT and other ISPs are often targets of spammers. If you have a security issue on your server, you likely will get blacklisted by one of these major ISPs.They then review and remove the IP from the blacklist. The links above go to some of those pages. Some domains might use a Realtime Blacklist service (RBL) to identify and block mail from suspected spammers. If enough of those domains' users mark mail received from a particular IP address as spam, the RBL can blacklist that address, blocking all mail from it.

I can tell my server is not on any blacklist and PTR and SPF records are all correct and up to date as far as I can tell. Yet my server is blocked from senting to att.
