This fix will allow you to use your Windows Button, Charms, and Alt+Tab again. This is an issue happening recently for many Windows users. If the window suddenly stops moving at all, the problem could be as simple as a blown fuse or a loose connection. It is also possible that you have a faulty switch, especially if the window works on a hit and miss basis. The power window switches are located inside the car, usually on each door. This switch takes input from either the driver or other passengers, and sends power to the window motor, which opens or closes the window.
When power windows do stop working, the switch can be a bit of a hassle to repair. Even experienced shade-tree mechanics are not usually used to fixing power window problems, mostly because they are so rare.
Power Windows Not Working - Repair Power Windows
When that button fails to work, it can be devastating, particularly if it stops working while in the down position. While drivers love the freedom of motion in their windows, they need the ability to choose when the window should be open or closed.
Correct readings on both sides of the fuse indicate that the fuse is not blown and working. If only one side of the fuse is giving a reading then the fuse is blown. The power window buttons in my 20Ford F-1seems to have stopped functioning for the passenger and both rear windows and sometimes my driver window stops working. Since it is happening to three out of the four windows then I figured it couldn't be the power window motors.
